Veterans & Military Families
Kentucky has one of the highest per‑capita veteran populations in the country, and District 33 is home to countless men and women who have worn the uniform with courage and sacrifice. For me, this work is personal. My father is a Vietnam veteran who grew up working on a tobacco farm, and the values he carried home from his service, discipline, integrity, and commitment to community, shaped the foundation of my life.
Our veterans deserve more than gratitude.
They deserve action.
My Commitment to Veterans
Why This Matters to Me
Call to Action
Support military families with better childcare, caregiver resources, and employment pathways.
Protect healthcare access. Including mental health, PTSD support, and Medicaid programs veterans rely on.
Expand job opportunities by strengthening veteran hiring incentives and recognizing military training for civilian careers.
Prevent veteran homelessness through housing-first programs and coordinated state–VA support.
Stop predatory practices that target veterans and their benefits.
My father’s service taught me that patriotism isn’t about slogans. It’s about responsibility. It’s about showing up for the people who showed up for us. Veterans deserve leaders who will fight for them with the same dedication they gave to our country.
I’m running to make sure Kentucky honors that promise.
If you’re a veteran or military family member, I want to hear from you.
Your experiences, your needs, and your voice will shape the policies I champion in Frankfort.
